Block Puzzle for iPhone and iPad

Privacy policy

Updated: 18 October 2026 · Applies to version 1.0.1

Slightly Games operates Block Puzzle. This policy explains the local game data, optional Apple Game Center features, and choices available in version 1.0.1. Contact hello@slightly.games about privacy or this policy.

Your saved game

You do not need a Slightly Games account to play. Your board, scores, settings, continue history, and reminder schedule are stored on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your saved board or individual moves, and the game has no third-party gameplay analytics service.

Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings. Reset best score clears the local record only. Deleting the app removes its local game data; device backups and information held by Apple are managed separately.

Optional Game Center

Choosing Connect Game Center enables submission of new completed scores and earned achievements to Apple's Game Center under your player profile. Completed scores include up to three continues. Earlier local records are not uploaded. You can play the full game without connecting.

The game uses Apple's game-specific player identifier to keep each player's results separate, displays your Game Center nickname, and stores pending scores and achievements locally for retry when a connection becomes available. It does not request your friends list or use an identifier shared across the studio's games.

Apple handles Game Center authentication, leaderboards, achievements, profile visibility, and related data under Game Center & Privacy and Apple's Privacy Policy. Scores and achievements may be visible to other players according to Apple's service and your profile settings.

Choose Stop sharing in the game's Game Center panel to stop future submissions and discard locally queued results. A submission already in progress may have reached Apple. This action does not sign you out of your Apple account or delete scores already held by Apple. Manage your Game Center profile, sign-in, visibility, and Apple data requests through Apple's settings and privacy controls.

No advertisements or purchases in 1.0.1

Version 1.0.1 contains no Google advertising or consent SDK, makes no advertising requests, and offers no Ad-free purchase. Every player can use up to three free continues per game. We do not use this version to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising, and it does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier.

Earlier 1.0.0 and 0.1.0 test builds included Google AdMob, Google's User Messaging Platform, and an Apple Ad-free purchase. If you still use an earlier build, Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from them, identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics. Those builds provide Privacy choices where required. Updating does not erase records already processed by those providers. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's information about partner apps. Apple manages earlier purchase and test transaction records, refunds, and payment information.

Friendly reminders

After you start or resume playing, the game may ask for notification permission following ten seconds of active play if you have not already answered the system request. With permission, it schedules local reminders beginning after ten days of inactivity and then every two days, using rotating messages. Returning to the app refreshes the schedule. The device queues a finite set of reminders; we do not operate a push-notification server.

Reminders and inactivity history stay on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings → Notifications → Block Puzzle on your iPhone or iPad. There is no separate notification switch inside the game.

Contact and website information

If you email us, we receive your address, message, and attachments to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or payment details. Opening our website or this policy in your browser sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and requested page, to our hosting service to deliver and protect the website. The studio website has no embedded advertising or separate visitor analytics service.

Use and retention

Information is used to provide gameplay, remember your preferences, support the Game Center features you choose, respond to support requests, and protect our services. Where a legal basis is required, this may be providing the service you request, your consent, our legitimate interests in support and security, or a legal obligation. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Local information remains until it is reset or the app is deleted, subject to device backups. We keep support correspondence only as needed to handle requests, maintain necessary support records, and meet legal obligations. Apple determines retention for data it processes. Provider processing may take place outside your country, with safeguards described in the providers' policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact hello@slightly.games to make a request. We may need information to verify the request and identify records we actually hold. We cannot remotely retrieve your local saved game.

For information held by Apple or by providers used in earlier builds, use their privacy controls and request processes. You may complain to your local data-protection authority where applicable. Exercising a privacy right does not prevent ordinary gameplay.

Children

Block Puzzle is for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through support correspondence. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete information we hold where appropriate. Parents can manage Game Center, app access, and permissions through Apple's family and device settings.

Policy changes

We may update this page as the game or its services change. This revision describes version 1.0.1 and retains information about earlier test builds above. If advertisements or purchases return in a future version, we will update this policy and the applicable disclosures and consent flows before enabling them.
